In the region of Pakistan Monsoon are always considered as blessings, it starts from the month of mid July every year and it ends in the month of August. Pakistan is an agricultural state, 75% of the population relies on agriculture which is the main resource of livelihood. 

The floods have caused horrific damage to 90% of the Sindh. Homes, businesses, crops, and lives have been lost. This year Monsoon was full of surprises and caused flash floods with heavy torrential rains, 10 million people have been affected and over 350 people have lost their lives.

SSEWA-PAK Emergency Response teams has responded immediately in the affected areas with the support of Tear-Fund UK and supported 1,000 families with food, plastic sheets, mosquito net and health kit, also Medical camps were arranged to maintain good health of flood affected peoples.
